Once test runs are planned, your testers can start testing. Every tester has his or her personal overview of assigned test runs.
You testers can start running tests by selecting Run in the top menu bar.
In the test run overview your testers can see all active and planned test runs assigned to them. The tester can see whether test runs have priority, the period in which the test runs are active, the amount of test cases for each test run, and the progress made with running test.
Test runs listed in your testers test run overview can be either active test runs or planned test runs.
- A test run is active when the start button is shown.
- A test run is planned when the calendar icon is shown instead of the start button.
A tester can start a test run by selecting the start button.
Expired Test Runs
In case a test run has reached its final date and is expired, it will no longer be visible in your testers test run overview. If your testers still require access to an expired test run, you as a test manager can activate the test run again.
Simply go to Plan > Milestones and select the code of the specific test run or the 'arrow' button at the right of the specific test run. In the test run detail page you can alter the Starts and/or Ends date by selecting the date field, choosing a new date and clicking the Save button.
