You can customize risk classifications according to your needs. Use the cog wheel in the header to open the Settings. At the left side, you’ll see a categorized list of configuration sections. The fourth section is Fields & Customizing. In the underlying section Risks you can customize the risk classifications in your TestMonitor environment.
Risk Classifications Overview
The risk classifications overview shows all the existing risk classifications, including their name and color. The classifications shown on this page are either default classifications or custom classifications that were added in your TestMonitor environment. The three default risk classifications are Low, Medium and High.
Add a Risk Classification
You can add a new risk classification by selecting Add Classification on the top right of the risk classifications overview page.
A popup will appear allowing you to specify the following fields:
- Name (required)
A short, clear name of the classification.
You can select a color.
Click Save to add the new risk classifications or Cancel to go back to the risk classifications overview page.
Update a Risk Classification
To edit a risk classification's name or color you can move your cursor over it, and a pencil is shown. Select and edit the field. Click Save to save the changes you've made or Cancel to discard them. It is not possible to update the default risk classifications.
Delete a Risk Classification
You can delete a risk classification by selecting the 'cross' button to the right of the risk classification.
A confirmation box will be shown. Select Delete to delete the classification. It is not possible to delete the default risk classifications.
Use Customized Risk Classifications in a Project
To use the customized risk classifications, you can add them to one or more projects. Use the cog wheel in the header to open the Settings. Go to Projects and open the project detail page by either selecting the project name or the 'arrow' button to the right of the project. In the section Fields & Customizing > Risks you see the risk classifications. To activate a hidden classification, select the plus symbol next to it. To hide an active classifications, select the cross symbol next to it.
