Reporting on test runs provides you an insight in the progress of your test runs. It shows which runs are planned, currently being executed, and which are expired. It will also reveal how many testers have completed their run, allowing you to direct testing effort more efficiently. You can access the test run report by clicking Report > Test Runs in the header.
Test Runs Report Filters
You can use filters to find test runs matching your search parameters. In the test runs report overview, the filter icon to the left allows you to open the filters sidebar.
You can use the cog button on the top right of the filters to show or hide certain filter fields. Choose Reset to deactivate all set filters.
The following filters are available for this report:
Shows reports for test runs within the selected milestone(s).
Shows reports for test runs with the selected status(ses): expired, active, planned.
When activated, reports are shown for test runs set with priority.
- Test environment
Only shows reports for test runs related to the selected test environment(s).
Shows reports for test runs assigned to the selected user(s).
Shows reports for test runs linked with the selected requirement(s).
Only shows reports for test runs linked with the selected linked risk(s).
Shows reports for test runs linked with the selected application(s).
- With Test Results
Shows reports for test runs with test results.
- With Test Cases
Shows reports for test runs with test cases.
- With Users
Shows reports for test runs with users assigned to them.
Status and Progress
At the top of the test result report, the general status and progress is displayed. The Status pie chart shows the distribution of test runs over the test run status categories. Status categories are: Planned, Active, and Expired.
The Progress pie chart shows the amount of test runs with outcome and the amount of test runs without outcome.
By using the filters in the sidebar, you can change the scope of these charts in order to match your preference.
Top 10 Related Issues
Below the category and the type pie charts, a list of top 10 test runs with issues is displayed. An overview is given what test runs in your project have most issues related to them. This helps you to gain insight in what test runs have test cases that have not yet been performed successfully.
By using the filters in the sidebar, you can change the scope of this list in order to match your preference.
